With a reach of +/- 6,75 m, the machine is ideal to execute the work from the shore as well as from the water. The WK 55 is the bigger version of the WK 20. This machine is adjustable from 1,47 – 2,50 m width and can also perform work in the narrowest position. The additional pontoons are equipped with hydraulic spud poles (operation from the cabin). The working depth with additional pontoons is approximately 2,50 metres. When the amphibious excavator starts to float, the use of additional pontoons is mandatory to carry out the work. This creates more buoyancy and provides more efficiency while working on the water.īoth amphibious excavators can work in shallow waters up to a depth of 1,10 metres. The machines can be equipped with additional pontoons as well as a middle pontoons (in between the tracks). ![]() Ideal when waterways are too shallow for a mowing-/ push boat or where working from the shore is not possible. With these 2,0 and 5,5 ton class machines, dredging and mowing activities can be carried out and they are extremely suitable for maintaining narrow waterways.
